I can remember a time when we didn’t have email. Yes, I am that old! We now seem to be suffering from email overwhelm everywhere we turn; at work, on our phones and at home.
Email can be a great timesaver and can help to get things done much more quickly than in the past. You can use it to help you to be organised and get more work done but if you’re not managing your emails properly it can also take up far too much of your time.
Evernote is one of the tools that I use every day on all of my devices.
It is a place to keep your notes, articles, images, recipes, scans, sounds, to do lists, video (and the list goes on!) organised into notes and notebooks with tags to make it easy to find anything at any time.
It syncs across all your devices from your smartphone to your tablet to your computer, which means you have your notes available everywhere
As I go through my days I often do something and think ‘I must make a note of that tip to share’ and then, as I haven’t worked out a process for it, yet, I don’t! After thinking it yet again this morning I’m going to blog about today’s tip to give me some incentive to create that process!
We’re into the second full week of the year and we’re still in the thick of ‘new year, new you’ articles online whether that be around your health, weight, detoxing, habits, productivity, business and the list goes on!
I’ve never been one for New Year’s resolutions as such but I do like the ‘turning over a new leaf-ness’ (did I just make that up?!) of January, as I do with ‘back to school’ September.
